Renaissance Van Use Policy and Process

Service is suspended

The Ocean County 2 bus is available on as a 3 month trial service for Renaissance residents.  The bus stops at the Clubhouse twice each Tuesday at 8:35 and 10:35 AM.  It makes stops in Manchester, Lakehurst, Berkeley and Toms River and terminates at Ocean County Mall.  Return trips from the Mall are at 1:50 and 3:50 PM. 

 

The OC2 bus also provides opportunity for residents not wishing to drive to access the Manchester and Toms River branches of the Ocean County Library, Community Hospital and the New Jersey Transit Bus Terminal in Toms River.

 

The OC2 bus does not and will not affect current Renaissance van service.

 

Renaissance Transportation Committee urges residents to try the bus which it sees as a valuable asset for residents unable or hesitant to drive. 

 

The trial service continues until December 8.  Hopefully, enough residents will use the bus during the trial to encourage Ocean County Department of Transportation to provide it as a continuing service on a more regular basis for Renaissance.”
